Casual and fine dining options abound throughout the Downtown Glendale district as well as new al-fresco dining opportunities.

Two regional shopping centers are located in the southern end of the district. The Americana at Brand offers a variety of upscale retailers and internationally recognized restaurants. Just across the street, the Glendale Galleria, a three-story regional shopping center with over 200 stores, attracts a visitor count of over 30 million people annually. Together, these two shopping malls are home to a number of high-end retailers including Bloomindales, Apple, Samsung, Amazon Style, Macy’s, David Yurman, Tesla, Tiffany & Co., Nordstrom, Gucci, Michael Kors, Zara, Tory Burch, and many more.

The City's Corporate and Tech centers are located on the northern end the district. High-rise developments house numerous corporate headquarters, including Age of Learning, ServiceTitan, Whole Foods, Cisco, and Avery Dennison.

Additionally, over 4,000 newly built luxury apartments are centrally located throughout the district and provide high-end housing options for the City's well-paid workforce.

Montrose Shopping Park

Montrose Shopping Park, Glendale’s official Old Town, is located along a park-like main street where close to 200 businesses, including quaint shops and restaurants, line the street. Montrose offers goods and services in a down-home atmosphere.

Thanks to the Al Fresco Program, many of Montrose’s restaurants, cafes, and bakeries offer outdoor dining in newly installed parklets. Montrose holds a weekly Farmers Market and annual events including Arts & Crafts Festival, Oktoberfest, Halloween Spooktacular, Spring Wine Walk, and the Montrose Glendale Christmas Parade that has been taking place for over 40 years.

Kenneth Village

Established in 1923, Kenneth Village is home to an eclectic collection of shops, eateries, and service providers along Kenneth Road in northwest Glendale. Its architecture dates back to the 1920s and preserves an old-town Mayberry-esque charm that has been the ideal scenic location for hundreds of movies, television shows, commercials, and advertisements.

While the Village maintains much of its historic charm, it is home to various shops and eateries that range from decades-old fixtures like Art's Meat Market and Deli and newer additions including Coffee Commissary, Yoga-urt, Tacos Los Desvelados, and Hang Loose Hawaiian Shave Ice.
